About
Founded in 1952, the Stonewall District Ruritan Club has been dedicated to making a difference under the core motto of Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service for over 70 years. As a local chapter of Ruritan National, "America’s Leading Community Service Organization" founded in 1928, the club represents a diverse cross-section of neighbors working together to improve their community. Unlike civic groups with rigid national agendas, the Stonewall District Ruritan Club specifically surveys and addresses the unique needs of its own area, frequently supporting local youth organizations like 4-H, Little Leagues, and Boy and Girl Clubs.

A cornerstone of the club’s local impact is its 19-acre facility, purchased in 1971, which serves as a vibrant hub for the community. The grounds and facilities are regularly made available to host a wide range of public and private events, including weddings, receptions, coin shows, and community meetings. By blending a rich history of grassroots service with versatile community spaces, the club continues to fulfill the true meaning of "Ruritan", bringing people together to make local neighborhoods better places to live and work.
